Daniel P. Johnson is one of the founding partners of Williams Coulson. He works closely with individuals and business owners to achieve wealth succession goals, and with fiduciaries and beneficiaries in resolving problems that arise in the course of an estate or trust administration.

Mr. Johnson's law practice is concentrated in the areas of estate, tax, and business planning, estate and trust administration, and the representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries of estates and trusts involved in probate litigation.

Mr. Johnson lectures on estate and gift tax at Duquesne University School of Law and on estate, tax, and charitable planning topics to various professional and civic organizations. He has been recognized by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in America® in trusts and estate practice.

Mr. Johnson is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Review and awarded membership to the Order of Barristers and the Order of the Coif. He received his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University.

Mr. Johnson is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh, and is an officer in the Probate and Trust Law Sections of the Allegheny County Bar Association. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
