Stephen J. Lynch

Steven J. Lynch is Of Counsel to the firm of Williams Coulson. Mr. Lynch concentrates his law practice in the areas of innovative tax planning, business acquisitions and sales, real estate development, including low-income housing tax credit developments, and entity restructuring. Mr. Lynch has significant experience in partnership planning and structuring, as well as IRS controversy work.

Mr. Lynch was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 1955. He received his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from West Virginia University in 1977. He received his law degree, summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1980. He received his LLM (in taxation) from New York University in 1982.

Mr. Lynch practiced in New York City with Coopers & Lybrand from 1980 through 1982. In 1982 he joined the Pittsburgh law firm of Eckert Seamans Cherin & Mellott, where he was a partner from January 1, 1989 through December 31, 1993. Mr. Lynch left Eckert Seamans in 1994 to focus his efforts on his real estate development company, Alder Street Management Company. Alder Street Management Company and its affiliates own and operate residential apartments in the western Pennsylvania area. Mr. Lynch is the President of Alder Street Management Company.

Mr. Lynch became Of Counsel to Williams Coulson in 1997.
