Nathan Catanese joined Williams Coulson in July 2016 and concentrates in the Estates and Trusts, Tax and Business practice areas of the firm.
Prior to joining Williams Coulson, Nathan was a law clerk to the Hon. Nora Barry Fischer of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and an attorney advisor (law clerk) to the Hon. Kenneth Andrews, the Hon. Janet Harner, and the Hon. John Lewis of the Pittsburgh office of the Federal Mine Safety and Health Review Commission. Before attending law school, Nathan worked in the United States House of Representatives as a legislative assistant for Congressman John P. Murtha and Congressman Mark S. Critz, where he worked on tax and business policy, as well as other policy areas.
Nathan graduated from the University of Notre Dame, where he received his B.A., cum laude. He earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was editor-in-chief of the Notre Dame Journal of Law, Ethics & Public Policy and was a research assistant to former Law School Dean Patricia O’Hara and Professor Amy Coney Barrett.
Nathan is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania, Florida, and the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the Florida Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
