Stephen regularly advises business owners and professionals in a variety of business and tax disputes.  He regularly represents clients dealing with federal and state tax audits, appeals, litigation, and criminal tax investigations.  He also represents clients in shareholder disputes.

Stephen is a former chair of the Allegheny County Bar Association and a member of the Administrative Practice Committee of the Tax Section of the American Bar Association.

Stephen speaks regularly to professional tax organizations and has been named a “Best Lawyer” and a “Rising Star.”

Stephen received his law degree from the University of Pittsburgh where he was an associate editor of the Pittsburgh Tax Review. Prior to receiving his law degree, Stephen was awarded a B.S. in accounting from Miami University.
