Dan JohnsonMary Jo Corsetti, and Mike Lloyd direct the firm’s Fiduciary Litigation Practice. The Fiduciary Litigation group helpstrustees, executors, guardians and beneficiaries resolve a broad range of estate and trust disputes, many of which involve complex and sophisticated legal and tax issues. Our practitioners also represent employers, investment managers and other fiduciaries with respect to their ERISA-based duties to plan beneficiaries.

The firm has represented clients in matters of trust interpretation, trust reformation proceedings, breach of fiduciary duty litigation, will and trust contests and controversies that arise during guardianship proceedings.

The deep experience of the attorneys in the firm’s Fiduciary Litigation Practice permit them to efficiently and effectively resolve controversies that arise during the course of settling estates and trusts of decedents and incapacitated persons.

Finally, we advise our clients on how to prevent unnecessary, costly fiduciary litigation and how to avoid future claims. We also help them resolve fiduciary disputes through mediation and arbitration, where appropriate. We frequently work with the members of the firm’s Estate and Personal Planning Group and Employee Benefits Group.
