Daniel P. Johnson is one of the founding partners of Williams Coulson.

Mr. Johnson’s law practice is concentrated in the areas of estate, tax and business planning, estate and trust administration, and the representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries of estates and trusts involved in probate litigation.

Mr. Johnson has lectured on estate and gift taxation at Duquesne University School of Law and on estate, tax, and charitable planning topics to various professional and civic organizations. He has been annually recognized by his peers since 2007 as one of the Best Lawyers in America® in the trusts and estate practice and named for inclusion in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers® each year since 2008. He has been selected for inclusion in Pittsburgh Magazine as a Five Star Wealth Manager attributable to client satisfaction for the estate planning services he provides.

Mr. Johnson is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was an editor of the Law Review and awarded membership to the Order of Barristers and the Order of the Coif. He received his undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University.

Mr. Johnson has served as Chairman of the Probate and Trust Law Section of the Allegheny County Bar Association and is a member of the Estate Planning Council of Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Mr. Johnson is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania.
